Also documents the history of the gay liberation movement in the US. Interspersed with footage of the controversy over the presence of a gay-straight alliance in Utah high school and interviews with its founder, Keli Peterson. The Celluloid Closet Based on Vito Russo's book of the same name, this film documents the history of gay content in American cinema.
