A piece of bread contains a cloud. Without a cloud the wheat cannot grow. So when you eat the bread, you eat the cloud, you eat the sunshine, the minerals, time, space, everything.

thefictions/thefacts

A man married a woman.. his wife gave him three children, two boys and one girl. they worked hard all their life to raise their children, giving them education.. and even managed to build themselves a house on the piece of land given to them by the man's father. one of the children came home one day and told his father that he learned in school today that his father was "the enemy" of the country. the father only smiled back. none of his children got passed sixth grade because they had no money to go on. after dropping out of school, they each had to do something to help keep the family going. the boys could go probably go to the roads and open a little bicycle repair booth or even a shoe shining service. the girl, she could probably go sell lottery tickets in the morning.. and when she gets older.. there will be more jobs available for her, after all she had her mother's looks, and was kinda cute. the father thought one day about what will become of his children when they grow up, where would they live?? his run-down house was too small to shelter all three of his children when they got older. he looked out his window and kept on thinking; but only to stop before he came to realized the harsh reality that lied ahead for him and his family. would it have been much better if his country didn't lose the war? Such is a common story in Vietnam.

my journey

What will be there waiting for me after so many years? i want to see you again. i want to see how you've changed. i want to see our friends whom i grew up with. i want to see that reminiscent place that hold my past and a part of myself that was lost when i had to go. will i be able to find my future when i look back into my past?
