The events listed here are typically regularly scheduled or occuring type events. Special events will be announced through ITO's email announcement list and/or local media publications.   • Love Makes A Family

  • Northwest Gender Alliance
    Two regular monthly meetings each month. Call for information, 503-646-2802, or send an email to, nwga@nwgapdx.com.
  • PFLAG - Portland
    Meets the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00-9:30pm, First United Methodist Church, 838 SW Jefferson, Portland. Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friend through Support, Education and Advocacy.   • PFLAG - Corvallis-Albany Chapter
    Usually meets on the 4th Monday of the month. Fellowship and library perusal at 6:40 PM; Meeting at 7:00 PM

  • PFLAG - Bend Chapter
    Meets on the third Monday of the month. 6:00pm coffee, 6:30pm meeting at:

  • Sexual Minorities Round Table (SMRT)
    Meets the second Tuesday of each Month, 12:00pm-1:00pm in the chief's office at the Portland Police Bureau, 1111 SW 2nd Ave, Portland. This is a monthly, on-going community meeting between the sexual/gender minority communities and the City of Portland Police Bureau. The purpose of the roundtable is to give participants the chance to exchange information and share concerns about law enforcement interaction with sexual minorities. The meetings are open to the entire community.

    Another aspect of the roundtable is the "Crisis Response Team," which consists of screened and trained volunteers who provide support to victims of traumatic events. The purpose is to provide those victims with support from members of their community, with someone they will feel safe and comfortable. The volunteer coordinator is Victoria Walker, (503) 823-2095.

Other Events

  • Seattle Commission for Sexual Minorities (SCSM)
    Third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Boards and Commissions Room, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, 600 Fourth Avenue, Seattle, WA. (you can get more detailed directions). The Commission committees meet at various times throughout the month and the public is encouraged to participate. Accommodations for people with disabilities provided on request. Contact the Seattle Office for Civil Rights for disability accommodation.
