Portland Includes Gender Identity in Civil Ordinance (13 Dec 2000)
The Portland City Council approved by unanimous vote a resolution aliing protection against
discrimination on the basis of gender identity to the City's civil rights ordinance.
County Sheriff's Office Issues Special Order (2 Jun 2000)
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office issued a special order
specifically aliressing the treatment of transgender detainees/inmates.
Portland City Council Passes TG Resolution (23 Dec 1998)
Landmark resolution showing the courage and compassion of the City of
