The Cool Page For Queer Teens is a great resource page that has answers and suggestions for almost every question I could have. The topics include:
"Gay Identity" - "What to expect when you come out" -
"What it means to be gay"
"Telling Your Family" - "Coming out and how to do it" - "Finding someone to talk to"
"Being Out, proud and respected" -"What to do if you've been Outed unexpectedly"
"When you have problems at home" - "When you're having trouble at school".
They also have a resident expert to answer questions, AIDS info, and reading lists. This site really deserves a visit! |

!OutProud! is the National Coalition for Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Youth, and serves the needs of young men and women by providing advocacy, information, resources and support. Their goal is to help lesbian, gay and bisexual youth become happy, successful, confident and vital adults. Their website is excellent, and includes links, resources, message area, surveys, and some excellent brochures. |

Safe Teen Project

The SafeTeen Project is the largest Internet Based Peer Support Program! The Safe Teen Project is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization under the umbrella of Project OutReach Central Texas run by Robert Mathis. With over 20 Peer Discussion Leaders, Professional Counsellors, and 2,000 clients, The Project strives to provide the best support to Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning Youth, their families and their friends. |
P.E.R.S.O.N. Project |
The P.E.R.S.O.N. Project is an informal, national network of organizations and individuals working to ensure that fair, accurate, and unbiased information regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and about the nature and diversity of sexual orientation is presented to America's youth as part of public school education. Advocates for The P.E.R.S.O.N. Project provide testimony before state and local boards of education, meet with educational policy makers at all levels of government, inform the public about educational equity issues, and furnish various resources for addressing these subjects in the classroom. |

An ezine for the web, created by and for gay youth and young adult in cyberspace. It has coming out stories, writings, poetry, personals, rant and rave, quotes... It is a site for Coming out stories and gay youth writing: if you are a writer, you can collaborate. |

Temenos |
Temenos is a greek word that refers to the part of something that is separate or cut off. Harry Hay, a founder of the queer movement used the term to describe the space at the edge of a tribal village inhabited by queer folks in some cultures. Queer Youth Web Ring |
The Queer Youth Webring, is a great way to get connected to other Queer Youth on the web if you have a web page. A webring links pages of similar interests.
If you know anything about HTML, and cutting and pasting, it's simple to add your page to the webring.
Please be aware of the name of this webring. It is the Queer YOUTH Webring. Pages of people under the age of 21, and pages geared towards that age are the only pages accepted. |
Campus Links Web Ring |

Youths Electronic Mail List |
It is an outlet for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, questioning, and straight supportive youth ages 25 and UNDER to talk with each other concerning such issues as coming out, schools, parents, friends, relationships, and other gay-related and non-gay-related youth issues.
The three email lists (YOUTH13-17, YOUTH17-21, and YOUTH21-25) is the first of their kind to offer a conversational/chat/support youth group in an email form. The email lists solve some problems that newsgroups, IRC, and chat rooms have. Email is quick, easy, convenient, and the most accessible. Not everyone knows how to subscribe to newsgroups, or to enter chat rooms, or even have the access capability to do so. But anyone with an email address can have access to this new list. |

The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is the largest national organization that brings together teachers, parents, students, and concerned citizens to work together to end homophobia in our schools. Over a third of GLSEN members are non-gay, and an equal number work outside of schools. |
