Hardy Mcpherson Forgie was born in Standburn MUIRAVONSIDE (in
Stirling and near Edinburgh). Scotland, June 9, 1903.
In 1918 she left Scotland with her family and went to Ontario Canada.
She met Bernard Summers AKA Bud and they ran away together.

The two witnesses signatures are quite clear to be
Leo F. Gelinas and Hope Cowie I have no idea who Leo F. Gelinas is but I suspect Hope is Geanie's sister...

Geanie died at age 30 on May 6, 1933 in Powell River B.C. due to childbirth complications.

When I was
very young I remember my mum and I visiting a man in Powell River
named Bill White. I was told he came over from Scotland with the
Forgies. He was an old family friend.
