On May 5, we travelled from Holland to Germany, stopped in Cologne for lunch and visited the magnificient Gothic cathedral. After lunch, we drove past Bonn following the river Rhine to Boppard where we embarked a cruise and sailed past the ancient castles, terraced vineyards and sleepy villages of half-timbered houses. Then we rejoined our coach passing the legendary Lorelei Rock, and on to our hotel.

May 6, we drove through the beautiful Bavarian Alpine scenery in Germany, visited the fairytale castle of "Mad" King Ludwig in Neuschwanstein and the famous Passion Play Theatre at Oberammergau. Then we travelled through the most spectacular scenery to Innsbruck, one of Austria's most beautiful cities.
