Land Battles of the Pacific War




Flag on Mt. Suribachi War raged in Asia since Japan's attack on China in 1937.The war in Europe was a blessing for Japan because it allowed her to invade south into Southeastern Asia easier because England and France were busy fighting Germany.
In September 1940, Japanese troops marched into French Indochina as a part of its "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere", which was similar to Hitler's "New Order".After the Attack on Pearl Harbor, Japan steadly and quickly expanded into Thailand, Burma, the Philippines, and the rest of the Southwest Pacific until 1942, when the Allies counterattacked.Now, I present to you, The Land Battles of the Pacific War
