What Is IPoint?
"A History Lesson - The Beginnings of Something Good!"
- First of all, before I go into the history of IPoint, I should explain a little bit about myself and who I am. My name is Charles Lyons. I am 17 years old, and I attend Waterloo Collegiate Institute, in Waterloo, Ontario. I am greatly blessed to have a wonderful family, consisting of one brother, Tim, one sister, Lynda, and two loving parents, John and Doris, that love their children very much! Since I learned to read, I have loved going to a quiet area of the house and burying myself in the Bible and its doctrines. I do not wish to receive any credit for the content of these pages. Whatever it is that I write is, obviously, my viewpoint. However, I believe that God may direct one's life through the knowledge that can only be obtained from an understanding of the Bible. It is my hope and prayer that I can convey to you the true meaning of whatever Scripture I use.
- I started working on Inspiration Point in April of 1997, (at the time it was called, "Place of Inspiration") and it has been growing and expanding steadily ever since!
- According to our LinkExchange statistics, we have had well over 125,000 guests visit us;
- We have had many requests for MIDI hymns, and have added more than 100 hymns to our MIDI Gallery;
- We have added a Prayer Request page;
- A messageboard and an e-mail discussion group have been added.

- Recently, we have been receiving an average of 75 hits a day. Inspiration Point is being seen by 65 new people everday! Please continue to pass on the IPoint address to your friends and acquaintances that the Gospel would be spread for the glory of God!

- As for the future of Inspiration Point, I can't tell you what will be added; only God knows. I do know one thing, though. If we, as Christians, continue to honor and glorify Him and we continue to "acknowledge him in all our ways", and "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9.)
I have surrendered this web site to Him, and have completely given it to Him. I ask you to please, lift your voices to God and pray to Him, asking Him to establish this web site as a true, genuine, Christian inspiration point.
