Past Meetings: Chapter 22 |
Mercury heard as Zoisite screamed in pain, and stiffened in pain herself. Why was this so heart breaking? It was as if she herself was being tortured. Her whole body shook in sorrow, and looked at Ren, who was looking at her as if he was looking at some toy that he was about to obtain. "Please," she begged, "Please, leave him alone. "How?"
"Like this," said Ren. At the same time, he put her hand on her shoulder, pulled her towards him, and kissed her on the lips. Surprised, Mercury tried to jerk away, but he was stronger. His mouth was pressed firmly against hers, and she felt as he tried to enter his tongue into her mouth. She fought as hard as she could, but something was getting her weaker, until the only thing she could do was lay still, and cry in silence. Her eyes were open, and she saw as his eyes flickered red, and looked at her intently. Mercury felt weak, and her mind was slow. A fog seemed to cover her eyes, and every barrier she had left, crumbled to the ground...
