'The garden'

My pre-school years were studded with some pretty bizarre dreams. Some were so surreal that they’ve lasted in my memory to this day. I just had to paint them for posterity. This scene takes place on a summer’s afternoon while I was sitting on the lawn in the shade of our old peach tree. On gazing up in to the clear blue sky, I found it full of pink or crimson planets nebulae and other planetary forms, sort of cosmic soup.The knees and feet are mine and you’re viewing the scene through my eyes.
