I'm a big fan of the Sony PlayStation. I'm also a fan of the Genesis, Saturn, SNES, and N64. Unfortunately, I don't own an N64. At least not yet (not until there is a substantial library of games.) Actually, I'm a fan of most systems that have ever been produced. Some of my most enjoyable video game memories are from when I owned an Atari 2600 and Vectrex. Every game system that's came down the pike has been revolutionary in one way or another. I've owned many systems over the past 15-20 years and each one of them holds a special place in my heart. I hope to add an Atari 2600, Vectrex, Coleco Vision, and NES to my collection. The Vectrex is the hard one as they're pretty rare and expensive. I currently own a Sony PlayStation, Sega Saturn, SNES, Sega Genesis, and two Nintendo Gameboys. On these systems are many great games. Here I will review the games that I own or have played to such a degree as to be able to make a decent review of the game. I'm not going to get into the whole console wars thing because I find it to be childish. In my opinion, the games are important, not the system. There are games that I prefer to play on one system over another but that is usually because of the way that the game is written and not the "power" of the system. In the past many years I've owned a lot of the different systems and each one of them was great for one reason or another. Right now the system that I play the most is the PlayStation. That's because I have more games for that system than any other. I still enjoy playing Super Street Fighter II on the SNES and Sonic & Knuckles on the Genesis though. Watch here for more to come! |
