Millennium - Lone Gunmen - Harsh Realm
In
1991, after several years as guest stars on The X-Files, The Lone Gunmen finally
earned their own spin-off series. Produced by X-Files creator Chris Carter, The
Lone Gunmen had a much more lighthearted and comedic approach to it. Frohike,
Langly and Byers, along with Jimmy Bond and Yves Adele Harlow, continued their
quest for truth. The three nerds are bent on publishing their self named
newsletter despite monetary problems are life threatening encounters with secret
conspiracies. The series was short-lived, only lasting for one season on the Fox
network and the Gunmen returned to The X-Files for it's final season. "Jump
the Shark" was the last episode that they appeared in, a few weeks before
the series ended. The Lone Gunmen will always be remembered for their place in
X-Files history.
