The bogus Spider-Man faced the new menace of Shadrac, a weird being with a melting power. He proved to be a tough enemy. During a fight, when the new webhead was almost being beaten, he is rescued by Peter Parker. Peter catched the new Spider-Man on his hands and he was surprised because he is as light as a feather.
Refuging in the top of a building, Peter realized that the new Spider-Man was a girl. She was that girl involved in the Gathering of Five ritual, with Norman Osborn. When he had got madness, she was gifted with the power and she decided to substitute the desappeared Spider-Man. Knowing that she was hurt and that the responsibility of stop Shadrac was his, he took the uniform and went back to business. |

Immediately upon unce again assuming the webspinner's guise, Peter Parker has find himself batttling alongside Thor, the god of thunder, against an ancient and evil entity called Tockotts.
The battle was being carried at the streets of Manhattan. Duing the turmoil, aunt May missed Peter and was sit in front of a house, regreting about this fate and feeling bad because she needed to take a important medicine. After a hard fight, Spidey and Thor defeated the enemy, who desappeared in a flash of light. Finally, without the Spider-Man's disguise, Peter found his aunt. Jake Olson, the Thor's new human identity, called an ambulance that took May. It finished with both shaking hands. |
