The Amazing Spider-Man # 9

The Spider-Man saved a girl during the fire that catched a building. Then, the webspinner saw a man in the top of it. He was also saved. That man carried a notebook which a list of names. The last one was Peter Parker.

It striked at the very origin of Spider-Man as Peter Parker learns that those present at the experiment that gave him his powers are being hunted down and killed.

Meanwhile, Mary Jane was facing a typhoon in the small tropical island she had travelled in order to take some pictures for the cover of a famous magazine. She tried to place a call to his husband Peter, but he was not at home.

At that moment, at a hospital, Peter visited that man he had saved from the fire, when Dr. Octopus, who was entering the same hospital, was defeated and captured by an unknown enemy, the one who is killing those present at the experiment.

At a hotel the other side of the world, the phone rang and Mary Jane received a call from that person who was stalking her. This time he menaced the Peter's life.

Peter Parker Spider-Man # 9

PPSM#9 The alien symbiote was wandering through the streets and rooftops of New York City, searching for a person that could feed his hunger, that is increased since he was separeted from Eddie Brock.

May Parker told Peter that his wife, Mary Jane, was being stalked by someone who had placed a lot of calls to her. He thought it would be Eddie Brock, who escaped the prison, and, disguised as Spider-Man, went in a search for him.

The alien symbiote found the Spider-Man and started to follow him secretely.

At night, when Peter slept, the symbiote invaded his room and tried to bond with him. He was able to refuse the criatures' desire. It fled away, with intention to find Eddie.

Later, The Spider-Man found Eddie in a single room occupancy hotel near the East River. The Webhead tried to force him to confess he was stalking his wife, but he said that without the symbionte, he was not able to remember anything about Spidey's identity.

Suddenly, the alien symbiote appeared, showed its intention to bond with Eddie, who, in dispair, jumped off the window straight to the dark water of the East River. The alien followed him.

The Spider-Man scoured the river and its surrounding banks for hours. he did not find anybody, and, exhausted, left the place. Hours after Spidey was gone, Venom emmerge from the river, and said: "We're baaaack! (...) The fun will really start!"
