I have been living in England since
1988. After gaining my first degree (LL.B) at Southampton University in 1993, I moved to
London in 1994 for the two-year professional training in a city firm. I then qualified as
a solicitor in 1994 and continued to practise for another two years in London. This year,
I am pursuing a LL.M degree (Master of Laws) at London University and enjoying the student
life tremendously.
I met Raymond Cheng and Paul Lam (both Form 1D) at Southampton
University, though Raymond was at that time one year ahead of Paul and myself. I then took
up the one year "Legal Practice Course" at The College of Law, Guildford with
Lee Sau Kong.
I heard about the others (like Kenneth Wong, Yvonne Liu and Lau Wah To, Dr Fung Cheuk
Wing, Jacky Lee Shing Hoi, Theresa Tam and many others) through Evonne Chung, who is about
to complete her PhD at Oxford. Evonne and myself meet regularly in London/Oxford and talk
about all sorts of things. Perhaps the class of 5A may remember the way our chemistry
teacher talks? |
