On 23 December 1921 when Nellie Virginia was 17, she married William Earl Freeland (1935) , son of Philip Grant Freeland (942) (about 1866-about 1941) & Sara Annabelle Messenger (about 1870-), in La Vale, Allegany Co., MD.
