On 23 December 1921 William Earl married Nellie Virginia Buckalew (1875) , daughter of Jehu Buckalew (999) (10 May 1847-1 October 1920) & Rebecca Virginia Buckalew (900) (1867-1947), in La Vale, Allegany Co., MD. Born on 29 January 1904 in Rodamer, Preston Co., WV. Nellie Virginia died in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Allegany Co., MD, on 4 August 1987; she was 83. Buried in Hillcrest Burial Park, Cumberland, Allegany Co., MD.
