Good morning, Minnie,

Here a quick response to your query. This may or may not be your Elizabeth, but she did have a brother whose name included "Parks" and her father was born in GA. Her father's name was Joseph, but may have had "Jim" as a nickname.

I have a John Vickers as Elizabeth's husband. He could have died young, and Elizabeth could have had a second marriage.

Take a good look at this information and see if any of it rings a bell. Any additional names, places, and/or dates that you may have could be helpful.

Your information was helpful, IT goes with every thing I have been told all my life. We were told that John Vickers left G A after he shot a man. And came to AL. He came through Calhoun co. so that is where the name Calhoun came from. That's why it has been so hard for us to find out any thing one him. We were also told that the Buckelews have Indian blood in them do you any thing about this? Also do you know any thing on John Vickers or his parents? John Calhoun and Elizabeth's childern, were Susan
[may have been called Susie], B. May 1881, John. H, B. Feb 1885, Rosie, B. June 1886, Jennie [may have been called annie] B, dec 1900, Pearly [could have been called Pearl] B. March 1888, William [or Bill], B. april 1882. I sure hope that this turns out to be the same ones. Mabey the childern's names will help if you have that information . I sure hope it will led me in the right direction.
