Week 10

  1. Vocation Careers The first task for you to complete this week is to create your "Future Career" page on your web pages--be sure to link it from your Index or Home page, so we can find it. All the links you need should be found from the Career Page. Minimum content on your Future Career Page must include the following:
    1. Links to 2 or 3 career web sites you are considering
    2. Links to school resources that you find most useful from the Vocational/Technical Schools Page or from the College Page.
    3. Some graphics that illustrate your choices
    4. Your email address at the bottom of the page
  2. Complete your other computer work--QUALITY email postings to the Rezlife are what we are looking for.

Week 11

  1. This is the week to catch up. Be sure your web pages are in good working order:
    1. All pages are linked
    2. Navigation between pages works--check this by going through your pages and testing your links
    3. Your email address appears at least at the bottom of your Home or index page.
    4. You have at least 4 web pages, including your Career or School page. IMPORTANT--this will receive a separate grade in the book!
    5. All pages contain original TEXT
    6. All pages contain some graphic(s)
    7. All text is spelled correctly
  2. Read and make intelligent, mature responses to the Rezlife mailing list. If you are behind on posting, do extra to catch up.
  3. Check the Class Bulletin Board, as I will likely post something for you there from the MEC (Microcomputers in Education) conference in Tempe.

Week 12

  1. Complete the brief Charles Dickens Hunt. All the answers are linked to: The Dickens Project or The Dickens Pages
  2. Take care of your basic computer assignments: posting quality letters to the Rezlife mailing list and creating the best Web Site you can.
  3. You will receive a checklist for your Web Site. Be sure you have all the basics covered, so your grade will be as good as it can be. Get help when you are confused--remember many of your classmates have learned quite a bit about creating web pages, so enlist their help too!

Week 13

  1. This is another week to catch up. Be sure your web pages are in good working order:
    1. All pages are linked

    4. You have at least 4 web pages, including your Career or School page. IMPORTANT--this will receive a separate grade in the book!
