Specific Assignments
Week 1
- Complete the work on the Introduction to the Net page
- Write a brief introduction of yourself to post on the Rezlife mailing list via email. The Rezlife address is: rezlife@mbnels.dyn.ml.org Write this address in your Journal book, and remember that your weekly assignment is to make at least 2 postings to the list each week. You must always do this from your Yahoo email or Rocketmail account.
- Complete the work on Search Engines and record your results in your Journal Book.
Week 2
- Complete regular weekly assignments--minimum of 2 postings to the Rezlife list using your Yahoo email or Rocketmail account. Also be sure to check out our Bulletin Board and post at least one message to it.
- Organize your future website on the planning pages--ask Mr. Nesbit and check out Website Creation Page Website Creation Page
- Get a website location at Geo Cities. Follow instructions there to choose your neighborhood, fill out the forms, and receive your password. We will be using the "Advanced Editor". Save this information. You will need this!
- We will begin to construct your home page this week. I will send you an email with some basic HTML text that you are to go to your "Edit" bar at the top and click on "Copy". You will then Paste that information on your page as a start.
- Fun, simple Personality test that can loosely tie in with the King Arthur material we will begin this week. Go to Kingdomality and take the survey. You can share the results on our class Bulletin Board.
- To get a head start on the King Arthur stories, explore the King Arthur Page.
Week 3
- Complete King Arthur Internet Search. All answers will be found on the King Arthur Page at:King Arthur Page
- You will make two kinds of "links" this week. One will be a link within your document from your home page to a second page while the other will be a link to my page. Once you know how to do this you can link to any site on the Internet (though we must caution you to only link to appropriate sites). Look for special coding on an email I sent you with a heading "LINK HELP". Check close, as only the most recent of the 3 is totally accurate--sorry about that.

- So you've got your first two pages started, you have some links, so what's
next?
- You need to be adding information in text and pictures
- Liven up your page with some graphics. We'll practice by clicking on
your RIGHT MOUSE on this image
and go to "SAVE
IMAGE AS". It will now be saved on your computer. Go to your FILE MANAGER
and scroll down to EZ FILE UPLOAD. Hit the BROWSE button, scroll down
to "ALL FILES", find your icon, UPLOAD the FILES, and follow the HTML
Code on your sheet to load the image to your page.
- Right after your email image, put your email address HTML Code. See your Code Sheet for the pattern.
