The Goddess
Shrines
"Like people from all times, we who long for the Goddess need Her
stories to know Her."
Carolyn McVickar Edwards, The Storyteller's Goddess
Merry Meet and Welcome
to The Goddess Shrines.
It is in this place that you can visit with the many Goddesses who have touched my life in
some way. It is here that their stories have been gathered so you may get to know them. If
they resonate with you, then you may take them into your heart.
To me the Goddess and the God dwell in everything. They are archetypes and their stories,
myths and legends can teach us truths, and can reflect upon our lives in subtle (and not
so subtle) ways. In the Goddess Shrine I have begun with the Goddesses I have known the
longest; the Goddesses that sit deep within me. You may notice a
propensity towards fiery Goddesses - I am, after all, an Aries. There are also a number of
Hebrew Goddesses because they are the ones I grew up with and brought with me.
But there are many others whose energy I have worked with. Bear with me, they will appear
as they are ready. If you want to suggest a Goddess that doesn't appear in my list, please
write to me by clicking the e-mail link further down this page...

Each shrine is different - the colours and symbols have been chosen to relect the Goddess
who dwells within. I hope the decoration of each shrine reveals a little of the nature of
the Goddess and also pleases you, dear visitor. Enjoy yourself!
