welcome to WiccaWeb.

On these pages you'll see my particular version of Wicca. (Remember how we say, ask three Wiccans about Wicca and you will get six answers?) The Wicca I practise is coloured by my personality and the other forms of magick I have studied. It is most definitely Lilitu's Wicca, not from any tradition in particular, but borrowed from the multitudes. I enjoy discussion. If you'd like to comment upon anything you see on the WiccaWeb, please feel free to e-mail me, even if you don't agree with me. However, I will not even countenance responding to you if you are trying to save my soul - so save your time!

WiccaWeb is my labour of love and will develop and grow over time. Please feel welcome to come back and check for new additions often.

What Do Wiccan's Believe?

According to me, these are the basic priciples of belief of Wicca:

* Belief in the Duality of Deity - that is, belief in the Goddess and the God

* The recognition of the Immanence and Transcendence of Divinity - that is, the belief that Divinity, the Divine, resides within each and every one of us ("Thou Art Goddess, Thou Art God") and in all of creation: each creature, flower, tree and stone and that it also outside of the physical or material world.

* Reverence and Love for the Earth, our Mother, and alongside this, the necessity to care for Her.

* The Law of Three: that which you give, so shall you receive, threefold. You could translate this as "Do unto others as you would be done by". But basically, if you send out negative energy or harm another, it will rebound on you. I am unsure whether it rebounds three times so I am known to call this the Law of Return or the Law of Karma.

* Each of us has the ability to raise power (or energy, or chi or Prana) and direct it towards positive ends. Wiccans call this power or energy "Magick". It can be used in healing, ritual, spells and in our daily lives and should be grounded whenever it is raised. It is power from within and power with, rather than power over.

* A Wiccan shall not accept money for craft teachings.

* Wiccans live and love by the Wiccan Rede:

Unless in self defence it be, always mind the Rule of Three
An' it harm none, do as thou will
