A Matter of Taste

Although I have picked many of the models to render based on my personal tastes, I enjoyed the challenges provided me by others. I would never have played with the fiery halo effects of POV-Ray had it not been a friend from work asking me to render his mean boss. Here is the current list of ideas that people have asked me to render: (I know, these are getting rather old, but bear with me!)

  • James Browning has pressured me to make more: "You could make a car, a boat, a police station and a fire station." (15 July 1997)
Well, I did the car and the police station!
  • Clark has asked me to make a LEGO castle design. (27 July 1997)
  • Fred Elliot suggested that I should model a U.F.O. LEGO set, specifically LEGO model 6975 (28 July 1997).
I now own a U.F.O. LEGO Set, so at least I have the pieces to render!
  • Patrick Boutwell would like to see some of the Aquazone LEGO models, specifically the Aquazone base 6196, Neptune Discovery lab, and Crystal Explorer Sub 6175. (3 August 1997)
Sorry, I still have no Aquazone models. Anyone have some instructions they wouldn't mind temporarily parting with?
  • Alex Reid asked, "Could you make a big school?" (7 December 1997)
  • Sean Ballaro would like to see some Pirates. (9 February 1998)
  • Sammy Harris asked, "Have you considered trying to do one of the big vehicle models like those in the Technics series?" (10 February 1998)
  • William Hudson wanted the Galaxy Explorer (12 August 1998).
Okay! This was just the motivation I was looking for!

Got an idea, send in your suggestions!
