SENATOR Kennedy: I hope the Rolling Stones won't be discouraged by the sheer volume of my present submission to them as i have numerous clarifications to add about the circumstances in "(my) present situation" in the remainder of my statement to you and the one to Javier Perez de Cuellar and i don't want them to think i'm going to leave them vulnerable.
I think i should state here that i'm not going to make a submission to either George Bush or Brian Mulroney now because it's about time we recalled that in 1978, it was decided i'd done enough fundamental work on behalf of the popular entertainers, those others i represented, and myself so that the responsibility for the next steps was Ottawa's (or Washington's). I think we should bear this in mind before resorting to certain "debating --ADD LINK HERE TO TRUDEAU POST-RETIREMENT TERMS OF REFERENCE tricks" that could further endanger innocent lives.
Incidentally, i also met Reverend Dr. Philip Potter, past General Secretary of "The World Council of Churches", in Vancouver on July 10, 1989, following a lecture he gave about the relationship in Jamaica (where he now works and lives) between the Christian Church and rock and roll/reggae music. He urged me to contact the present General Secretary of the W.C.C. about what we discussed (my diplomatic work), and i said i had to anyway as the Very Reverend Lois Wilson² (a Canadian) was one of the "Vancouver Centennial Peace Festival" participants and soon i'll have to make further submissions to all of them. Also, i do have a plan to respond to the hostage crisis and unrest in Lebanon if present efforts fail--and the W.C.C. could be very helpful. I'll explain at month's end.
Also, if you get copies of the South Africa documents from CONGRESSMAN Dellums or the White House, i'm sure you'll understand i have to send copies to Creative Artists Agency for forwarding to Sir Richard Attenborough and Donald Woods³ before making a submission of copies to Beijing.

THIS REMINDS ME OF A RONALD REAGAN-POPE JOHN PAUL II MEETING AT THE VATICAN DURING WHICH THE HOLY FATHER REMARKED ABOUT "SOLIDARITY" (I'M CERTAIN HE USED THIS WORD) WITH THE MEDIA (OR SOME EQUIVALENT WORD TO NOTE THE PRESS).
I WENT TO THE VANCOUVER ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHDIOCESE TO CHECK FOR THE EXACT PHRASING IN THEIR COPY OF L'OSSERVATORE ROMANO, BUT CURIOUSLY FOUND THE TEXT THE OFFICIAL VATICAN NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED OMITTED THE REMARK.
I ASSUMED THE INCLUSIVE REACHING OUT BY THE POPE WAS A DEPARTURE FROM HIS PREPARED TEXT AND PERHAPS THE VATICAN PRESS JUST DIDN'T NOTICE IT.

WE FOUND THAT AS "FELLOW CANADIANS" WE ACTUALLY HAVE SIMILAR UPBRINGINGS: I WAS BORN IN PORT ARTHUR, NOW KNOWN AS THUNDER BAY NORTH, AND SHE GREW UP THERE AND RECALLS THE MAJOR STREETS AND LANDMARKS AS WELL AS I (WHO HAVEN'T BEEN BACK THERE [BUT ONCE] SINCE 1988--ANOTHER OF THE "PERSONAL COSTS" I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF 'ENJOYING' BECAUSE OF THE WAY OTTAWA AND WASHINGTON CHOSE TO RESPOND IN 1981 AFTER I QUIT THE TORONTO AREA PRIVATE SECTOR JOB I HAD--FOLLOWING THE ASSASSINATION OF ANWAR SADAT--TO MY "INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMATIC WORK...ON A DIRECT BASIS" FOR THE WORLD'S CHILDREN.
THAT WOULD BE THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE DISENTITLEMENT PROCESS THAT DENIED ME INCOME THEN AND TO DATE.
