Saturn circles our system in dark splendour with its mysterious, DANCING rings, forcing us to be awakened to whatever we have neglected in the past. It will present real puzzles and problems to be solved, causing delays, obstacles and hindrances. By doing so, Saturn stirs our own sensitivity to those areas where we are laziest. Here we must patiently develop method, and only through painstaking effort can our ends be achieved.
It brings order to a horoscope, and imposes reason just when we are feeling least reasonable. By creating limitations and boundary, Saturn shows the consequences of being human and demands that we accept the changing cycles that are inevitable in human life. Saturn rules time, old age and sobriety. It can bring depression, gloom, jealousy and greed, or serious acceptance of responsibilities out of which success will develop. With Saturn there is nothing to do but face facts. It rules labourers, stones, granite, rocks and crystals of all kinds.
In early times it was thought that Saturn was the last planet of the system - the outer limit beyond which we could never go. The discovery of planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto ushered in new phases of human history, revolution and technology. They liberate human beings from cultural conditioning, and in that sense are the law breakers.
As our Saturn sign slowly plods through moody music, controlling each limb smoothly and rhythmically in melodic, body-swing motion, we detect the graceful notes that link the purring foxtrot with our emotionally cool Capricorn - ever-steady, ever-determined. This goat is no ordinary dancing animal, despite being possessed by the god of agriculture... the weaker Capricorn must, however, not let the agri- outweigh the culture.
The positive side of dancers born under the sign of Capricorn, is that they are very stable and patient. They stick to whatever task must be done and see it through to the end. These dancers can always be relied on - dependable souls; dumping a partner indiscreetly is not part of their ascendancy. Preparing for comps and hard work is something the Goat takes seriously. Saturn's negative side is the exaggerated interest in material things, and to gain wealth, the Goatilonians will pose ever so shyly, ever so gently, until BANG! you're under their complete control for easy manipulation. Compliments always intoxicate the Capricornian ego to the point of gullibility... so do unto others...
The Goat strives to live a well-rounded life, balancing all four parts; love, spirit, work and play. Play being their happy reason for dancing, and OH! what a wonderful "balancer" - fun, popularity, fame, friends, feet and confidence. Saturn's hovering halo has no saintly significance. On the contrary, Saturnians, when in a state of pooped confidence, have a tendency to flirt, but these flirtatious spasms are only an attempt to recoup some semblance of surety. Our sound advice is, when you're feeling flirty, cold and morose, indulge in the big courage booster - COMPETITIONS, EXHIBITIONS or dance EXAMS, but more than that, SMILE.
LOVE: Grows. Affections are smooth-flowing, emotions deep. This one lives to love, to manage love. It's rugged, devoted, parental - a practical entrepreneur. These Goats can steer, can keep the thing interesting, can keep it moving. There is a talent to amuse, a talent to survive. Love is in the air: pure texture, purpose, character - a wholesome arrival.
PASSION: Is tremendous; communicates by touch, feeling; serves to indulge, to replenish, to cherish. The senses reel. Has immense nerve centre, is uncanny. Nothing is held back. It's all high-level, all well-intentioned. There is continuity of style. Physical exchange is rendezvous with destiny.
Dance: Appears erratic. Timing and co-ords hunger for harmony and symphony. The beat eludes the body. It's all sporadic, all physically disconnected; opposite ends interact, muscles thump, vibes oscillate. Intense repetition required - doing it again and again and again brings hope, adds confidence. The mind chirps "hi", the body waves goodbye. It's hilarious, laugh-a-minute stuff, a handsome giggle - entertainment galore but a travesty of what is real - a charade... seemingly without destiny. Ah ha! A hurdle heaved, the movement flows, the body gestures "hello there" and the mind hoorays, there's musicality, connection; bugles and harps can be heard… our Goat & Goat gloat - blissfully impressed. This one is magnetic… a charming end to an awesome struggle - an enchanting acquisition: slow & slow, quick, quick.
