Answer 43 Walking On The Ceilling

 

 

Somebody is walking on the ceilling of our Motel room. The floor boards are squeaking, objects are dropping, and a child is running, yet they have just as much right to be there, to squesk, drop and run, as we have a right to live down stairs from them, but.....

 

 

As we neared the end of August, 1999, our finances were still critical. The bank had forgotten to reissue a check card a month ago, we were out of money, AGAIN, but, otherwise, we are happy in the Lord.

 

 

Last week, I called the bank and reminded them about the check card which they promptly sent to my sister in Michigan who is forwarding it on to us in California. Mr Lee. the present motel manager who purchased the Diamond View Motel from Netty, agreed to cash a check for us so we could purchase groceries, then loaned us $50.00 against the check until it cleared the bank, our bank in Tennessee replaced the stolen $235.00, although, because we don't have our check card yet, we can't spend it, the people upstairs are still squesking the floor but it was a nice day for hiking the Biz Johnson trail, and the Lord is greately to be praised!
