We are just recovering from Cameron's first Christmas (which wasn't too bad) and his first New Years party .....
There's more detail here (if you can stand it)
The best of the latest batch of photos are in Cameron's Photo Album.
The three of us are off to New Zealand this month. We are under orders from the family to make sure Cameron is wearing his All Black suit when we get off the plane in Wellington. Obviously, this is Cameron's first time trip overseas, so he had to get an Australian passport. Of course, for someone his age, the application has to be signed by one of the parents (in this case, Jeanette), but the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade even rang me at work to make sure Jeanette wasn't doing a runner with him !!.
We had a bit of trouble with the application form, though. There's a section where some one had to witness that they'd known Cameron for at least a year !!! As it turns out, they're just saving on forms. Just to be on the safe side, we had our neighbour witness that he knew Cameron. The witness had to one of a long list of various occupations and categories, and Ben managed to fit into most of them, from Public Servant to Clegry.
The whole trip is becoming a bit of a logistical nightmare. We're actually establishing a base camp near the airport on Saturday night, in preparation for final departure early the next day. We've decided that 7 nappies a day will be enough, so we're taking a gross amount of disposable nappies, we've got a pram that will fit into a suitcase, etc etc. The biggest problem is the dent that all the carry-on luggage will put in our duty-free shopping.
We'll be having fun, though. Hope you have an excellent year
