All Mixed Up - Mixed Breed Dog Pictures-Page 3

JazzMan will be 2 on Feb 6, 2003. She is a akc registered pug/ Chihuahua mix. How you ask? The breeder we bought her from had her female pug artificially inseminated by a male pug. The mistake is the breeder had an intact male Chihuahua in the house. I wanted a pug because I have a German shepherd dog and a Rottwieller, so I wanted something small but hardy. We got the best of both worlds with her. She doesn't have the problems most pugs have, but she has the great personality. This picture was taken on Fat Tuesday. Parent: Brandy Wright

Misty is a Maltese/Poodle mix. I looked for 2 months for a dog that looked just like her as she reminds me of my "Peanut" who I had for 12 years. We went to a shelter 40 miles away from my home and there she was for almost a week. I was told that she was left on someone's doorstep. She is a baby about 1 1/2 yrs. old. She wasn't even spayed; she is now:) I already had her groomed although I like when they look scruffy. Needless to say, she is soooo happy and torments my cocker, Susie, who is probably 12 yrs. old.

"Dama" at 3 months old. Her birth mom was a rescued Rottweiler with a surprise belly of 11 pups and her dad was a Black Lab. The best thing about her mix is that she has a much softer Rotty look, with longer ears and snout, but the Rotty markings I love. At just over a year now, she's 80+ pounds of love with a little puppy brain! Coming from two "learning breeds" of dog, she has been very easily trained. Never runs through her invisible fence, learned the standard sit, go down, stand, come, heel and shake by voice command as well as by hand signs. She's my pride and joy! My puppy is a 3/4 Yorkie and 1/4 Pomeranian. He is my best friend. What a great personality. He is quite loyal, very loving and sleeps all night long! He has been really easy to potty train and uses the paper while I'm away at work. Jackson is 3 1/2 months old in this picture. Parent: Cheryl.

My dog's name is Heidi. She is part Yorkie part Lhaso Apso but we call her a Yorkie Apso. She is very very sweet!! She will be 4 years old on March 24, 2003. She is a very cuddly dog who likes to sleep in the bed with me and go everywhere with me. She has the coloring and ears of the Yorkie but the size and mixture of hair of the Lhaso. She doesn't shed for some reason but we have to take her to the groomers or her hair goes over her eyes. I love mixed breed dogs the most!

Tippy This is my sister's dog Tippy. She is half Maltese half Poodle. She is the sweetest dog ever!! She cuddles with you all the time and lays her head on your chest. She is so snuggly and when she sleeps with my sister at night, she sleeps underneath the covers with her head on the pillow. She even has her own stuffed animal named Barney which she takes everywhere. Tippy doesn't shed and she has the curly fur of a poodle but the head and tail of a Maltese. I also have my dog, Heidi, on here who is part Yorkie part Lhaso Apso. I love mixed breed dogs!

Maggie This is a dog of my friend's named Maggie. She is part Schnazur and part Shih Tzu. She is very affectionate and fat hehe. She likes to cuddle and run on the slippery floor in the kitchen. She is really cute and very very sweet.

Ed & Colleen (both female) were born May 1999 to a mom who is a Brittany/ Springer spaniel mix. There were 8 puppies in the littere. They think that one of the dads was a yellow lab. The girls are each others best friend. They love to chase each other and see who can bite the other's leg more, or tail which gets caught first. They currently reside in a single bedroom house outside of their owner's house, but in cold weather they like to see who can be the first in the main house to get the best spot by the heaters. They are great dogs, and just more proof that mutts are the best!

Gabby, THE BOSS, can't you tell, is Yorkie/Maltese mixed. She was born Feb. 15, 2003. She can hang with the "Big Dogs" but can cuddle like a baby. She is the lap dog I've always dreamed of and the only lap she wants is Mom's (mine)! The greatest site of her is when I come home and her ears are back and she is wiggling and wagging all over out of excitement waiting to be picked up for a hug. She is my baby!! Parent: Margaret

Emma is a chihuahua x mini foxie. She is 16 years old and still very healthy. I have found this mix to be robust and loyal. They love bed and love to be with you. Emma would defend me to the death. Never a day goes by that I don't thank God I have her. She has always been my soul mate and I truly dread the day I might lose her.
