I am basically a country boy living in a large city. When I was growing up, I was shy and had very little self-esteem. Now, I do what I want, when I want, if I want, as long as it is not illegal or immoral and as long as it does not harm someone else, and as long as it doesn't cost very much, and as long as my friends approve, and as long as my family approves, and as long as the local sherriff's department approves. I respect everyone else's rights and beliefs with the same restrictions I place on myself.

Try it, you'll like it.
Trust me. I mever nake mistakes.

These pages reflect my personality (sometimes confusing). The images and music are of my choice and I will not change anything to please anyone else, especially just to win an award. However, I do like to get awards--Pleeeeze!

My main hobby, along with genealogy, is re-enacting. I am a civilian re-enactor with Company A, 19th Texas Volunteer Infantry. We re-enact battles of the War Between the States (Civil War) all over the United States.

MY LIFE IN THE THEATER

I have a small interest in a little theater group called "Wings and Feet, Inc.". I was stage manager for our first production, "Perlie Victorious". Then I made my stage debut in Dallas in "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" as Harlan Granger. The book and screen play was adapted for the stage by Gail Willingham, a friend of mine. I have also appeared in "Balcony Scene" and "Father Knows Best".

I never learned to whistle.

IF TUESDAY WELD MARRIED HAL MARCH III,
WOULDN'T SHE BE TUESDAY MARCH 3?

SCHOOLING

After high school, I attended Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas, majoring in Business Administration, Foreign Language-German and History. After that, I attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. While at MU, I joined a foreign studies group and studied at the University of Regensburg in Regensburg am Donau (Regensburg on the Danube), Germany, in Northern Bavaria. At MU, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Language-German and History.

I was so smart, they let me skip kindergarten.

NOW

Now I live in Dallas, Texas, where I am retired from Texas Utilities Company. There I was Senior Accounting Analyst.
THEN

From 1959 to 1962, I served in The United States Army, Headquarters Company, 4th Medium Tank Battalion, 37th Armor, Fort Knox, Kentucky. I worked as Operations and Intelligence Clerk at Battalion Headquarters. Also, I was a member of the Fort Knox Post Color Guard. I always carried the flag of the visiting dignitary with the Honor Guard. And, I sang tenor with the "F Avenue Chapel Trio".

I like driving a tank--fast!

MY VIEWS AS TO WHY THE DINOSAURS DIED

Scientists have shown that the moon is moving away a tiny, although measurable distance from the earth every year. If you do the math, you can calculate that 85 million years ago the moon was orbiting the earth at a distance of about 35 feet from the earth's surface.

This would explain the death of the dinosaurs...the tallest ones, anyway.
