He is 13. He is in the 7th grade this year. He has grown quite a bit.
As you look around the page you will notice some of his FAVORITE things.
He also likes to be outdoors doing lots of things 
He gets good grades when and if he chooses to (chooses being the key word to his entire life :o) ).
He is the strong-willed one, but has met his match when it comes to his mother. Matt is very determined and focussed. When he makes up his mind it is quite a challenge to change it, speaking from experience. It is amazing the qualities of a good adult are not the ones you want kids to have. I, personally, look at it this way....it has to start somewhere and as parents we need to teach kids to use the qualities for good.
His love is his Bike, and building ramps for it. He enjoys his go-cart. That is always an experience since it is old he has to keep it running as well. It is good experience. He likes to work on heavy equipment with his grandfather in the summer. And he has driven bulldozers, trak hoes etc... With Matt, you can never have enough bandaids around. He is with out a doubt an outside person.
He also has started to collect miniature antique tractors. John Deere's are his favorite. You could never tell by looking at his room. Everything from sheets to posters are John Deere and the walls are John Deere Green with John Deere yellow borders & ceiling.
