Internet Safety Sites
- Department of Justice Kids and Youth Page-Safety tips are just one of the interesting subjects for children and parents presented on this site and linked to the FBI pages. The pages are categorized for children by ages.
- Disney Online Presents CyberNetiquette-"An entertaining, interactive way for families to learn valuable lessons about online safety. Join classic Disney characters for adventure, fun, and online awareness tips."
- Internet Safety Game-Join Iggey and Rasper for tips on Internet Safety and etiquette. When you have finished try their game to see how much you have learned.
- PBS Kids Techknow-Kids can take the "Rules of the Road" test and receive their Web License.
- The Police Notebook-Comprehensive safety site including personal, Internet, fire, and kids safety tips, first aid and drug and alcohol information. Informative for both parents and children.
- Safe Kids Online-Provides tips for teens and a kids contract, as well as links to other safety oriented sites.
- Web Wise Kids-An internet safety resource center for parents and children alike, through awareness, education and links to kid safe sites and parenting resources.
Fun and Educational Sites
- The Busy World of Richard Scarry-Play the Alphabet Game or write your own silly story with the Rickard Scarry cast of characters. A site for 3 to 7 year olds.
- Colgate Kids World-A great site with games and activities that teach you about healthy teeth and the dentist.
- Crayola FamilyPlay-Fun for all ages. Activities are listed by age, skill level and location. Share a different bedtime story each evening from Golden Books.
- Funschool.com-An interactive day school for preschool through sixth grade. Lots of activities and educational fun pages for children. Find out how much fun school can be on the Internet.
- Knowledge Adventure-Activities and games for toddlers through fourth grade from the people that bring you JumpStart Software.
- Metro Washington Park Zoo-Experience the zoo in Portland, Oregon from your own home with this wonderful interactive site. Don't miss the Baby Rhino Cam where you can view Imara the baby rhino. There is even a section where there are No Adults Allowed! to help you with school reports or to learn more about how you can help save the animals.
- Santa Claus Village-Welcome to Santa's Village where there are games, activities and you can even write a letter to Santa. Christmas is once a year, but Santa is on the Internet all year long.
- Sports Illustrated For Kids-A site for all kids that love sports. Learn about your favorite sports figures, sports from around the world and it is made "just for kids".
- The White House For Kids-Socks, the First Cat, takes you on a tour of the White House. You can even send the President a letter. Fun and educational for all ages.
- WorldVillage Kidz-Fun, games, puzzles, comics and more are here at World Village Kidz. Visit with Billy Bear and read stories and create your own bear.
