An Open Letter To Parents

Keeping your child safe while surfing or creating on the Internet is becoming more difficult each day. Even a novice is able to find "adult only" sites with little or no effort, and considering the ability of even young surfers, the Internet poses a problem to parents trying to keep their children from entering such sites. With this in mind, I hope this site will provide you, the parent, with the know how to keep the Internet an educational portion of your family without exposing them to the "adult only" side of the Internet.

I know there are quite a number of parents who feel that the Internet should not allow sites that are deemed "adult only", unfortunately these sites have a place and will probably remain in the future. Fortunately there are ways to combat these sites. I hope that within the pages of this site you will find resources that will enable you to educate yourself and your children on Internet safety.
