I usually make this to take to work for Christmas. Some years the fruit salad hasn't been frozen, cause I added too much Cream Sherry, more like slush. Hope you enjoy it as much as my other friends do.

Melt butter in 10 inch baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder; add milk and mix. Spoon over melted butter. Heat fresh or canned fruit with sugar (use less sugar if using canned fruit.) Pour over dough. Bake for 30 minutes.

The batter will come up over the fruit while baking and is wonderful served with cream or ice cream.

Add frozen strawberries, stir, let cool until thick. Pour over whipped topping layer and chill entire salad until set, at least an hour.

Can also use fresh strawberries..I usually add ice to help the jello thicken and remove unmelted pieces before pouring over the whipped topping layer. Also easiest way to crush pretzels is to put them in the blender. Hope you enjoy
