Welcome to the Internet, or as some people refer to it, The Information Highway. Have you ever felt like a stalled car in the fast lane? I certainly have. What I would like to accomplish here is to give you a roadmap to get to your destination, which is wherever you want to go. Travel along with me and I'll show how to avoid the pot holes and detours. With a little bit of luck, we won't feel like our friend Bill here.

As a computer trainer, I've taught people who've never flipped the on switch of a computer all the way to the network pros. One thing they all had in common was that they had to build one skill on top of another. None of us were born running, so don't expect to be a pro your first (or even twentieth) time out the gate. Give yourself some time to build those skills, and you won't fall on your face. Trust me it really hurts when you fall on your face on your computer.

I won't be able to teach you everything you need to know in one easy lesson, I'm not that good. And if anyone tells you they can, run for the hills, they either are so egotistical that they could care less whether you understand what they said, or they are after your money. And speaking of money, this is absolutely free, so you be the judge if you're getting your money's worth. (A laugh would be appropriate here.) So give this some time to develop, and I promise to update this page every few days. Now for the first lesson.
