Kansas City Ragtime Revelry | A new site for the promotion and preservation of the legacy of ragtime music in Kansas City. Very interesting information and a link to the Scot Joplin Foundation (he was from Sedalia, MO, just down the road from here.) |

Blues Notions | Kansas City's "Gentlemen of Jump" One of Kansas City's great local groups. They blend traditional blues, R&B into what's a Kansas City style blues. |
The Trilogy Big Band | A truly big band in the tradition of the great big bands. This site has lots of wonderful links to other big band sites. |

A Prairie Home Companion | For those of you who appreciate laid back humor, excellant music, and a different look at life - you must check this out. I try to never miss the weekly broadcasts of A Prairie Home Companion. They also have archives of the shows with Real Audio. One of my favorites is Lamentations of a Father by Ian Frazier. Truly a wonderful site. |

Saffire - The Uppity Blues Women | My favorite blues group. Three of the most talented women you could hope for. For those of you who think blues is crying in your beer music, check out this site and listen to their music. All I have to do is hear that piano and I'm not in a funk. |
First Oldies Site on the Net | Over 100 full length songs, a 50's card shop. It also has 40's and Big Band music. A wonderful site with lots to listen to and enjoy (and visually wonderful too.) |
