Mrs Nannie J Ackley, 92, of 553 E. Center St. died at 9:45 a m Sunday at home
following a long illness. Her husband, Benjamin F Ackley, died Sept 4, 1954.
She had been a Marion resident 28 years.
Born Aug. 26, 1869, in Athens County, she was the daughter of George and Esther
Martin Guthrie. On Nov 25, 1895, in Athens County, she married Mr Ackley. She
was a member of Central Christian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Hazel Gearhiser of Prospect; 4 sons, Wallace
and Stanford Ackley of Columbus, Hubert Ackley of near Marion and Huston Ackley
of Prospect; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and a brother, E R Guthrie
of Phoenix.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 pm in the Hughes-Hyll Mortuary.
Rev. C E Weber will officiate. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home. She lived at Marion, Marion Co., OH in 1962.90 She appeared in the following
