As every cat lover knows, there is an inate
bond
between cats and "their" kitchen appliances...
Padsy likes to supervise the cooking, although his skills are
limited to the microwave...so far!
He's always right there when you need him to hand you a
paper towel or two.
Hensy is more into the
fridge
"scene" and is able to supervise
all
from her vantage point.
We keep little chocolate treats in the Halloween
pumpkin and being very figure-conscious, she is always ready to help
curb those sugar urges with a
well-timed swipe of the paw!
Years ago when I was a child in
England
we had a HUGE ginger
tom called
Tibby who used to lie beneath the oven on a Sunday
when the roast was cooking..He practically
used to bake himself but it was
the nearest he could get to all those
delicious roast meat smells and it was so
warm and
toasty..!
Sadly there are no pictures of Tibby
under the "cooker" (as we
Brits
call it!) but there will be a picture of him in the
family tree which will be added just as soon as our
families send us the photos.
