WASHINGTON DC TRIP

What a dream come true kind of trip!! I've been wanting to go back to Washington DC and see and do the tourist thing ever since my cancer adventure took me to Walter Reed Hospital in January of 1996. I wasn't allowed to go outside you know so there I was in the Nation's Capitol and couldn't do a thing but lay there and fight for my life. So yes, this trip was a dream come true for sure.

First stop was of course the Capitol.

Here of course is the Vietnam War Memorial... check out the beautiful fall foilage!!

The Korean War Memorial was powerful to say the least...
