This posting is aimed at addressing issues with upper level management at corporate offices of Home Depot. These are the people that make the policies and set the standards for Home Depot. We actually sympathize with the Home Depot employee because all the individuals we dealt with at each Home Depot's lumber department (particularly stores #225, 261, and 266) were always very courteous and extremely helpful in caring for our special order "Thomas Grade Lumber". We made many good friends in Home Depot lumber departments. As helpful as those employees tried to be, their input in running the lumber department fell on deaf ears. We believe they were the hardest working employees in the store, but too often looked down upon because of the consistently low department profit that comes with Home Depot's policy of using lumber as a price leader to get customers into the store. Try not to be so orange blooded; we have stories on how corporate Home Depot deceives their own store managers.
