Rev. Randy Orwig, Margaret and Patrick Corkery On Thursday evening, July 13th, 2000, before a small group of family and friends Patrick Corkery of Littleton, Colorado and Margaret Duffey Camden of Huntsville, Alabama, were married. The wedding was held on the deck of the beachhouse, Bartow, at Sandbridge, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Miss Kathleen Clair Camden and Mr. Paul Richard Camden of Huntsville stood up for their mother. Mr. Sean Corkery, of Littleton, was his father's best man. Also in attendence was Ethan Corkery, the other son of Mr. Corkery. The bride's two brothers and their families, Terry and Cookie Duffey and Tom and Jane Duffey of Virginia Beach and Norfolk respectively were in attendance as well as the four brothers of the groom; John and Dara Corkery of Gillette Wyoming and children, Tim and Caitlin; Joe and Margaret Corkery and son John Lawrence of San Francisco; Dave and Cindy Corkery of Moline, Illinois; and Dan and Tori Corkery of Champagne-Urbana, Illinois and their daughter, Mary. The bride's mother, Doris McGovern Duffey, was also present to celebrate this union. Reverend Randy Orwig of the United Church of Christ officiated. Readers were Kathleen Camden, reading from the "Prophet", John Corkery and Margaret Lukens both read from poetry by William Carlos Williams and Tom Duffey gave the benediction, "The Irish Wedding Blessing". The photographer was David Welch of Denver, Colorado. The reception followed the ceremony indoors and dancing was later in the evening under the stars on the deck.
