This is a picture of my mom and dad. My mom works at a leather tannery as a Customer Service Coordinator.
In her "spare time" she enjoys cross-stitching, making wedding albums or albums for
other occasions, Christmas stockings...you name it! She has also gotten into quilting.
And boy do I mean gotten in to it! She is a quilting mad-woman! And she's really good at it!
My dad works as an Assistant Chief Police in a small town outside of Red Wing. Outside of work,
he is so crazy! Let's just say that dinner at our house was always an adventure! I miss those
days at home. He is a loyal parrot-head (Jimmy Buffet fan) and also enjoys playing
his guitar and driving his new Mustang.

This is a picture of me and my sister, Courtney. People say we look exactly alike, but I
just don't see it!! She is 18 and graduated from high school in June (my baby sister is
all grown up now!!) She is heading off to college in northern Missouri this fall. Don't
ask me what she likes to do - she is too busy to keep track of! I know she loves theater
and The Simpsons :) Unfortunately, I don't get to talk to her too much, but I guess that's
what happens when you move across the country!

Here is another picture of my sister and me! We are outside on my parents' back deck. As you can
see it is below zero outside! Believe it or not, the thermometer is at the wrong temp
because our body heat warmed it up! BRRR! That's a Minnesota winter for yah (on a nice day)!
Luckily, I am a Texan now so MN winters are only a thing of the past and future vacations
now! I hate cold weather!

Here are two pics of my puppy. OK, so she isn't really a puppy anymore since she is
almost 14 years old, but she will always be my baby! Isn't she totally adorable?! Her
name is Muffin. She is a wiener dog (dachshund) and is my Grandma's dog's puppy. She
knows MANY tricks, including playing dead when you shoot her with your hand! It's so
cute!
"Dachshunds are ideal dogs for small
children, as they are already stretched
and pulled to such a length that a child
cannot do much harm one way or another."
~ Robert Benchley
