Well, I promised to tell you a little about myself. I live in Finland in northern Europe with my wonderful husband who is interested in flying and soaring especially. When cumulus clouds are there he goes up into the blue sky and glides there happily. I am interested in many things so it's quite difficult to get time for them all. First more than anything I love to read good literature. I want to read at least a little every day. I learned to read when I was six years old and since then I have read probably thousands of books. My favorite book is Sinuhe The Egyptian, written by a Finnish author Mika Waltari. The novel tells a great and humane story about Ancient Egypt. I read also fairy tales and I love Antoine De Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince and A.A.Milne's Winnie the Pooh. Their philosophy of life is great! Then I have been interesting in history in general and in the journeys and discoveries everywhere in the world since I was a child. To my mind the stories of the Silk Road discovering are fascinating. I love nature and all kind of animals too, big and small, domestic and wild. I have two lovely cats, a black beauty Nekku and an individual calico Milli. They are my friends and absolutely the real members of our family. You can read about them on their own pages. It's also very nice to sit by the computer doing graphics, writing stories or working with my homepage.
