Nekku has always been like an acrobat. She can jump to everywhere. She jumps on to bookshelves, on to high cabinets and in to wardrobes. She loves to sleep in the top part of my wardrobe. She herself opens first its door handily with her paws like all other doors too.

Nekku is a very sensitive and independent cat. It took a very long time before she came to somebodys lap. Then she came little by little to my lap when I was sitting watching TV or reading. There she lies and purrs loudly and satisfiedly. But she comes and goes as she wants to. Her nature is very tender. She has never scratched anyone. She is an unbelievable cat.

Nekku hates beeing in a car. When we start to pack for our trip she sits and looks suspicionely. I take her basket out and she disappear immediately. It's quite a big job to find her before the trip. She really can hide herself. Maybe she is behind the books of the top shelf or then somewhere else. Who knows?

Nekku's best friend is Milli of course. She had lived with us about a year when Milli came to the house. First Nekku got hurt enormously. She pretended not to see me for two weeks. I was worried of course (and it was the meaning) but then one day I saw both cats lying side by side on my bed and licking each other satisfiedly. Nekku had clearly accepted Milli to our house. Nekku is an absolute boss even though she is much more smaller than Milli.

Nekku has also made friends with a handsome grey tomcat Vili who lives next door. They always love to purr and push friendly each other. On holidays it is also nice to meet other friends. In the country there are three friend cats, Topi, Viivi and Alma.
