The following description of Minerva is from A Smelser Family History :

It appears that she lived in Rush County for over forty years before moving north to Duck Creek, in Madison County, Indiana. After the death of her husband in 1892, she lived with her two oldest daughters in Marion, IN until her death in 1900.
