Isabelle Jane's link to her parents is not well proven. We found her in McMahon family records and a 1988 ``History of Washington County Tennessee'' discusses the McMahon family on pp 424--425 says that she was called Jane McMahon and that ``Jane Married Adinigia Morgan'' in Washington Co., NC. This is close enough to matching with the Morgan's family's account of Adonijah marrying Isabelle Jean McMahon in (what became) Greene Co., TN that I believe it is the same person. This McMahon family were in the right area and another bit of evidence is that Jane McMahon also had a brother named John Blair McMahon, and Jane and Adonijah named one of their sons John Blair Morgan. Jane McMahon's grandmother was Elizabeth Blair.
