family of William F. Morgan (Harriett's father) in the 1850 census
in Steady Run Township of Keokuk County, Iowa. Joel is a 45 year old
farmer, born in Mass.
Included in that Skinner family are Harriet's
husband-to-be, Joseph, and Anson who would marry Harriet's sister Lydia.
Joseph's parents, Joel and Eleanor Skinner, and his brother, William
(a civil war veteran), and members of William's family are all buried
at Graceland, too.
