Kitty taught Esmond School #4 during the 1900-1901 school year. Kitty was living in Belle Prairie Township at the time of her marriage. to Frank Bloodgood. They moved to Wall, SD. They were divorced because of John Schmitten and Frank took Cyril and raised him. Kitty's father would not allow her to come home for a time after this.

In the 1920's Kitty was living near the Badlands in South Dakota. Her son Carrol gave his address as Wall when he went into the service in 1941. She was in Minnesota near Lake Itaska about 1940, but may have been visiting her daughter Hildred there. Later she moved to Rudd, Iowa, where Hildred lived. Her last 3 years were spent at the Rockford, Iowa Nursing Home, where she died.
