Inez graduated from Drake University in Des Moines in 1913 with the highest honors in her class, a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She later attended the University of Chicago. She was associated with her husband in the following pastorates: Fowler, CO; Ft. Collins, CO; Coffeyville, KS; and First Church, Chattanooga, TN. She was president of the minister's wives fellowship which met in connection with the international convention in Grand Rapids, MI in 1942.
