From the Morgan family history booklet:

Chartley and Rebecca moved to northwestern Nebraska, where he covered wide circuits of preaching, driving across the prairies, through the blinding blizzards in winter, and the burning sands in summer. In 1903 they moved to Oklahoma, where he preached, organized, and Pastored churches. ``He was a powerful preacher, and an humber minister''. He was a minister for both the Baptist and Methodist Churches.
